For those new to this French region, you'll be delighted to discover the idyllic preserved nature park set between the Atlantic sea side and the Landes forest.

 

During your stay at the Lou Puntaou, 4 star campsite by the sea, you'll be spoilt for choice between several popular beach resorts such as Biscarrosse , Mimizan, Capbreton, or Hossegor, as well as less touristic like the Cap de l’Homy, Vielle-Saint-Girons, Moliets , Messanges, or Vieux-Boucau. 

A straight coastline and sandy beaches is a paradise for surfers, go on 'dude', take a dip in the Ocean during your camping holidays near Biarritz, you never know where the next wave is going to take you, it will be a French holidays to remember... 

Together with the amazing sea side, for nature lovers, there are many lakes and ponds to enjoy and relax by during your family holidays in the Landes.  Over 40 lakes are scattered in this green nature reserve: in the northern area of the Landes you'll find the Cazaux / Sanguinet pond and the Biscarrosse / Parentis lake as well as the Aureilhan Lake.

In the southern parts, you'll find the Soustons Lake, the Huchet reserve and the HOssegor lake, the Black Pond anb the White Pond in Seignosse.  

 

By the shores of the Leon lake, the Lou Puntaou family campsite in Aquitaine is the perfect location to explore the Landes region, its forest, lakes and beaches. Set in a peaceful and quiet setting, you'll spend quality family time during your camping holidays in South West France.

 

In this campsite you'll enjoy the covered swimming pool, 2 waterslides, a Spacebowl, two outdoor swimming pools, a water slide and paddling pool for great family fun and a jacuzzi. Near the campsite you can also try out canoeing, sailing, fishing, golf, horse riding... as well as riding through the beautiful woodlands of the Landes on a bike across the many cycling routes.

The campsite has several water slides, which you can view in the pictures above.
The Spacebowl is a sensational slide where you will move swiftly down a path to arrive in a large bowl. The winner is the person who makes the most laps! (Minimum height requirement : 1m20)
A paddling pool complete with its own water slide, otherwise known as the snake, for children under the age of 6. Children can swim and slide in the safety of this attraction.
Ideal for children under 3 years of age, our colourful and playful paddling pool allows toddlers to experience the joys of swimming with their parents.
Opening hours of the water park : 9:30 - 20:00. Swimming shorts are prohibited (boxers or briefs allowed). Toddlers must wear diapers specially designed for swimming. The bracelet must be worn. For children who cannot swim it is mandatory to wear inflatable armbands.

Only one animal is accepted per accommodation, at an additional cost (35 €/pet/week), always kept on a lead and vaccinated. 1st and 2nd category dogs are not allowed. Bull Terriers and American Staff. Dogs are not allowed in the rental houses. Only 1 animal is allowed per accommodation.

Carabouille and entertainment

On this campsite the Fun Dose is red. This means there is a lot of entertainment! In july and august, we offer the following:

-The Clapou Club (4-6 years old) and Policator Club (7-10 years old) welcome children from Monday until Friday, from 10am until 12pm and from 3pm until 5.00pm.

-The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up twice a week.

-We offer evening entertainment 5 nights a week, 4 animators, aqua gym every morning and an almost non-stop super fun day and evening program until midnight!
